For larger capacity torque tools, Radial offers the Mobile Calibration System; This mobile calibration system utilizes standard M72 bolts and the famous RAD Smart Socket™. Application or customer specific bolts can also be used to precisely simulate the real life joint.
Thanks to the vertical tool position and the use of standard bolts, this calibration setup closely mimics real-life field applications, such as wind tower flange connections.
It features excellent ergonomics due to its vertical calibration position and is highly mobile, thanks to its four caster wheels. In addition to calibrating continuous rotation tools, the MCS is also suitable for static calibrations with a torque range of 4.000 Nm up to 16.200 Nm.
